Living on the rugged and spectacular Pacific West Coast of Canada, I am surrounded by so much breathtaking natural beauty and a contagious love for life, that I now find myself infusing this sensibility into my writing. I once was an Ontario city girl who drove everywhere and was too busy to cook or create... and I am now a Vancouver Islander who looks forward to sunshine, embraces the rain and uses any excuse to redesign, write, cook, bake and entertain.
I have a passion for interior design and entertaining. I love buying and re-purposing used and antique furniture and I recently have taken my passion for entertaining to the kitchen with a newfound love for cooking. Over the past decade, I have published more than 200 feature articles in home, garden and lifestyle magazines in the US, Canada and the UK.
Aside from being a Feature Writer at Suite101.com, I love my job as Editor of Homes & Living magazine. You may have noticed that my list of article topics is somewhat diverse and I like it that way! Every now and again, I write articles that draw upon my MBA in Global Communications and 20+ years experience in business and marketing management.
